As promised here's part 2 of pics from our walks during the weekend. By the way we received lots of inquiries about the pod thing mommy and i were in, while walking in Mt Faber. They're actually old and discarded cable car pods, which were used to provide an aerial link from Mt Faber on the main island of Singapore to the resort island of Sentosa. They're still in operation except that they've changed the model and the cabins are more spacious.
As for the funny looking curved building, the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, well mommy isn't too crazy about the design too, especially considering they have a large swimming pool on the roof top!
So much for all that, before my secretary (mommy ) leaves for her Monday chores and errands, let's get to posting!
Here we are back at Fort Canning Park on Sunday morning;
Heading to the Keramat (Tomb)
Tomb of Iskandar Shah
(the last of five kings in a genealogy of Majapahit royalty who had traversed the Malayan Peninsula and ruled over Malacca and Singapore in the 14th century.)
lots of pigeons surround his tomb
Fort Canning Centre
Early Christian Cemeteries
Muffin and Family joined us later
Three furs and all the mommies
Our last stop before heading back to the car.
Needless to say, we had a great time and we look forward to more walks and sharing them with all of woo! Have a great Monday and happy start of a new week!
Mom's gotta run but we'll be back tomorrow!
