Sunday Post and Boot

Happy Sunday! Hope all of woo had a great Saturday and did you get a glimpse of the moon on Saturday night? It was pawsome!!

As for me, well..I'm wearing rubber boots or rather A rubber boot!

We were at the VET on Saturday as i was still limping and the swelling on my right paw has gotten worse..:(

Hello All!

We took Maxx to the vet on Saturday as he was limping pretty badly on Friday and his paw started to swell more. I trimmed the fur on his paw to have a clear look at the skin to see if there were any cuts or bruises but found nothing. It was a little red and hard as compared to his left paw. We suspected that it might be an infection or something stung him..as he didn't fidget when we touched his bones or joints.

The Vet suggested that we did an X Ray and found that the flexor bone of his right paw is thin compared to the rest. The Vet was concerned about this and we were told to bring Maxx back in a month's time to review. Meanwhile he was given an anti inflammatory injection as well as calcium supplements, analgesic pills and anti septic lotion and ointment to apply on the affected skin area.

He wasnt limping anymore on his evening walk yesterday and this morning too and otherwise his behavior and appetite's pretty normal.

As for his paw, it's still a bit reddish but the swelling isn't getting any bigger or worse, so i guess that's something to worry less about. We're gonna stay pawsitive and will continue to monitor his paw behavior. Oh and the Vet also said that that furball has to lose weight..!

Now how do i tell him that... :-< ?
