Rainy Monday and a Tour

Good morning all!
It's pouring outside and has been since yesterday night..
I'm still waiting for it to clear before we could go for our morning walk..
(crossing my paws that it will be very soon before i leak!)
Anyhowls, since we have the time, i got the momster to do an early post for today. We'll be sharing with you pics from our walk at Fort Canning Park, yesterday morning plus a few other places we passed by on our way home. So come along!

Here we are at Fort Canning Park;

So many areas to walk, to sniff, to mark..;)

An old Platen Press

Leaving Fort Canning

As we made our way home, we passed by;

The Mica Building, (Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts)
It used to be a Police Station and Barracks.
Mommy called it the LEGO Bldg cause it's so colorful like the LEGO toy bricks.

City Hall
Built from 1926 - 1929, it was known as Municipal Building and in 1951, it was renamed to City Hall, as it was to mark Singapore as a city, after being granted city status.

and lastly, Raffles Hotel
Nothing much to say about it except that it is just one of the few colonial style buildings left in Singapore.

Well that's just some of the places in Singapore that we have for now, to share with all our friends.
Oh, before we end this post,
Can woo believe what we saw when we were at the beach yesterday;

Cluck Cluck Cluck!

Too bad mommy didn't let me near, otherwise..chicken for dinner!!

Hope your Monday will be bright and beautiful!!

Cheers,
Tanuki Maxx

What a cool place!! I noticed in some of the plants in the garden I have as house plants! Very cool! I would love to visit a place like that. Hope you're staying dry.

We have too much rain here and my yard is so wet and soggy. Sigh!!!
Even my mom keeps on singing,'Rain, rain, go away; come again another day.'
Great pictures and you have those beautiful buildings too.

Wooow! So this is how chicken looks like.....i always thought they grow on sticks aka satay!! LOL!
Great place to walk, Maxx, even in the rain. The wetness seems to bring out the greens in all those gorgeous photos. You live in such a beautiful part of the world.
